Holly and Mark were married on a Sunday at Hazlewood Castle in Leeds. We had arranged a pre-wedding shoot for the couple and guests the day before. This helped set the scene and put everyone at ease infront of the camera. We all had a great time and were ready for the wedding the following day.
Arriving early, we concentrated on relaxed informal shots of the wedding party preparing and getting dressed. The wedding ceremony was intimate with just key family members and friends. After a moment to take signing photographs, we moved on to the blessing in the chapel. Hazlewood Castle features a nicely sized chapel with great lighting inside. The 2nd photographer took photographs from the balcony which allowed for a well rounded series of images of the blessing.
The weather treated us well, even with grey clouds looming, leading to some fashionably moody skies. With so many groomsmen and bridesmaids all in matching clothes, we could be creative with the group photographs on Hazlewood's front steps.
