Liz and Kirk were married on a Friday at Thorpe Park Hotel in Leeds. Thorpe Park is a wonderfully intimate venue with a great variety of locations to whisk the couple off to. The day started out with glorious sunshine, but was soon to turn.
The wedding ceremony was relaxed and put Liz and Kirk at ease. After a short reception, we took advantage of the sun during a break in the rain. Family was a priority for the couple, so we concentrated on covering the groups initially. Beaten back by the rain, we retreated under the large umbrellas for some reportage style coverage.
A second brief respite from the rain saw us take a turn with Liz and Kirk alone. This was quickly followed by shots of the couple with the groomsman then the 'Ladies' and 'Gents'. We finished with shots of the cake and the welcoming of the Bride and Groom into the reception hall.
